Unhappy

I'm unable to sleep. I'm feeling depressed. I'm trying so hard to keep positive in my weight loss endavours. I don't want to take anything to help me fall asleep, but I know I need sleep and it's hard to shut down and just do it. Something is bothering me I suppose... I have a good friend who is a real life supporter, but lately she's been going through things that I can't help her with and I feel selfish because I'm needing her there for me and my problems... She's going through the unimaginable with DCF, trying to sober up, and raising a 5 year old. I wish she would call me back or try to get in touch with me somehow cause I miss her and it hurts not being able to vent to her, or hear her vent to me. Can someone please remind me that it's not all about me and my problems?

I was about to get off the Computer when I saw your email. I also know how it feels to feel Depression and about trying to Lose Weight, while being depress, not easy. We have to remember to Love and Matter to our Own Self. To treat our self like we would treat a Friend, with Love and Kindness and Patience. I am trying to Lose 27 Pounds, have you heard of Jorge Cruise - his book is called - The Belly Fat Cure - check it out on the Computer. It talks about only having 15 grams of Sugar and 120 grams of Carbs. He says Sugar and Refined Carbs are not good for Our Body, it causes Belly Fat. We have to Eat more Food that has Vitamins and Minerals and Fiber, food with Nutrition in them. About your Friend, it must be hard to try to over come drinking and doing all she can for her Child. But, she can do it! And remember when you share with her what you are going through it helps her not think so much about her problem or it gives her a break from it. Remember Friends are there for a person through the Good Times and the Bad Times. So, bye for now. Have a great day. Enjoy Jorge Cruise and his Site. hey honey...I'm sorry you can't sleep. There are so many things we are stressed over and anxcious about and it robs us of our peace of mind at bedtime. A good tool for you is to Journal all of your thoughts and feelings,.....write them all down b4 bedtime. It will help you get things off of your mind b4 you try to sleep. It helps me and really works. Also, coming here is a blessing and there are many that will support you hun. I'm here if you need me....
