emotional roller coaster

Posted in Group:

wow. these past couple days have been kind of stressful. honestly, they've been rather stressful. this will be long, but i need to get this off my chest.

to start out, i've been sick with a minor flu for a couple weeks now. i think most of it is depression though. i took my G.E.D. test on the 11th and have been waiting for the results. there has been a strain on my relationship and i have been depressed.

even though i have been trying to forgive myself, the fight with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago is still on my mind. i'm taking the steps i need to get over it, but it's still hard.

yesterday, i slept in. i was going to get my check in the mail and pick up some things for me and the house. when i woke, i was achy and tired. when i got up, i got some bad new from my boyfriend. a friend of ours is getting his leg amputated because of blood clots. he's been procrastinating for too long and it needs to happen. he is going in sometime today and the operation will happen monday. (please help me pray for his well-being) i'm so scared for him.

right after, i got my test results from the college. I PASSED MY G.E.D. TEST!! my god, i'm so happy! i was almost for sure that i was going to fail. i actually exceeded the standards. i got my diploma and i hope to start college soon.

after the bad and good news, i got called into work. i went to the kitchen to get something to eat and quickly got ready. i always go in when i'm called in, even when i don't feel well. for some reason, it was so hot at my station, it seemed like 90 or more. since i stand all day at work, the heat can sometimes be a problem. i was only there for about twenty minutes when i started to get light headed and my stomach was cramping. i thought i was going to be sick, but i tried to work through it. it was a little over an hour after when i threw up. i went home and got in bed.

i received a bill from a collection agency and it says i'm about 4,000 dollars in debt. its all from the hospital bills and my electric bill. they sent me some papers to get some help. its just stressing me because i don't know what to do. i know to fill them out, i'm just a little scared.

it isn't anything major, but i am still stressing a bit about my cysts. i usually get them in my hairline on the back of my neck. in the past 7 or 8 months, i started to get them on my abdomen. then, in the past 2 months, i started getting them on my face. does anyone know anything that can help me with this?

(men, don't mind) i've been having menstrual problems. i think i need to go to the hospital, but i don't have the money. i won't go into much detail, but it is extremely irregular. i might have something wrong. i know i'm not pregnant, i took a test, but i don't know what it could be. my mom said its a possibility that it's just stress, which makes sense.

i think that's about it right now. everything that's going on is stressing me out. and with me already being depressed, it isn't good. i've been getting so moody. my boyfriend noticed. i took some advice from a fellow member on supportgroups and i bought the book emotions anonymous. (thank you lily) it should be here in a few days.

to everyone that has helped me through this, thank you. your love and support is what i need.

Wow, you do have alot on your plate right now.

Congrats on your GED! Now that you've passed that with flying colors and you know you've done so well, I'm pretty sure you'll feel better at succeeding with college as well.

The female problems are a big problem. If you are in the US, you can go to the local health department and ask them where you can go for free for help. When I lived in Ft Wayne, IN I went to a place called Matthew 35 (I believe) and it was a place that helped indigent people with all their non-emergent medical problems. There might be a place similar to that near you. Also, sometimes home pregnancy tests can give false negatives so don't hesitate to get in to see a doctor. If you decide to go to the hospital let them know again that you are indigent WHEN you get your bill. Most hospitals have indigent programs set up to help those with no insurance where they will cut the bill down considerably plus most will take payments if you explain your situation. I am paying a hospital bill right now and am making $30 payments on a $3K bill. All you need to do is be open and honest with the billing representative when you get your first bill. If you decide to go to the hospital about your menstral problems why not get your cysts addressed at the same time? It might help save some time, money, and stress. Make sure you let them know that these things are really stressing you out.

thank you. i will try to find if there are any places like that around here. if not, i will just try to save as much money as i can. do you think that the stress could make my cyst problem worse? with my female problem, i haven't been to a gyno in almost two years, after i had my son. for the first year, i had three periods. they have become more often, but one will be for a week, 6 or 7 weeks later, another will be for 13 or 14 days, 6 or 7 weeks later, one lasts for 4 days. i do think a lot of it could be stress, and maybe the fact that my mom had some issues with hers as well. i'm not for sure...

I've been travellin' on this road too long...Just tryna find my way back home...The old me is dead and gone, dead and gone....

I too had female problems such as yours. I went from those problems until this past May. From May 10 until the last week of Nov I had one continuous period. Unfortunately I am now having to undergo a surgical procedure to correct my problem. Sometimes the doctors can correct problems like ours before they get out of control. Mine ended up being a type of endometriosis. You might want to get checked out sooner rather than later just to make sure that that isn't your problem. I'd hate for you to have to go through what I am. I won't lose my uterus but I will be rendered unable to have more children. From the appearance of your nick, I'm guessing you at around 20 but I may be wrong. I don't want you to risk not having more children because you didn't get this checked out.

endometriosis is where your uterus bleeds irregularly. When I say irregularly I mean most of the time it bleeds on the outside as well as the inside of the uterus. I have a friend whose endometriosis was so bad that it attached itself to other organs. For most women it is very painful during their monthly cycle. Most bleed very heavily. In my case, I bled once every other month or so for 2 to 3 days until May when I bled for 6 months straight. Each case is different which is why it is very important that you see a doctor as soon as possible. You are young so it might be that your body hasn't adjusted yet to a set rhythm yet especially since you had a child at such a young age. I am not a doctor and I don't want to appear that I am diagnosing you. You really need to be checked to make sure things are ok.

You might also look it up online and get information from various resources. Another place to get support is the support group for endometriosis right here on this site if you do find out you have it. Best wishes.
